A murder mystery, but with a slightly different approach. A lot of the book is composed of letters written from the main character to her friend, in an effort to explain her past behaviour. The story is a slow developer, but still manages to keep the reader interested. In some places the writing and dialogue seemed a little stoccato and I think the writer needs to make sure it doesn't sound too immature. However the concept was good and well worth the read. It has some major twists in it, that I wasn't expecting and I liked the fact that although there is a murder in the first few pages, the character is so strong that his ominous presence hovers throughout the book,as if he is still there. I received a free copy of this book for my review.
