It literally is like a plaster for the woman dealing with the emotional side of menopause. The focus is on how you make yourself feel better, pull yourself up and deal with it day by day. That sounds a little like dealing with depression I suppose. The severity and size of some of these emotional onslaughts can be anywhere between a small hiccup or a huge mountain. Fortunately it isn't the same for every woman thank goodness and not everyone will suffer from every symptom.Included in the last chapter are worksheets that can be used to apply the suggestions within the book. I liked the personal insight and feel of this book.
