Deep Dark Secret - Sierra Dean There are so many talented writers that try their hands at this sort of genre and to be fair quite a few pull it off, but only some of them create the type of character set that make readers come back for more. Sierra Dean just happens to be one of them. It has just the right amount of action, excitement, wit and a smidgen of naughty. Obviously there isn't much in the genre of para/supernatural that hasn't been written or created, so the trick is creating a likeable persona within the vast masses of talent already swimming around in the book tank. So far there are three novels and two novellas and even though they seem disconnected to some readers they are in fact bringing us one step closer to Secrets destiny. There are small hints along the way, especially when it comes to the Oracle. I eagerly await the next offering be it large or small. I highly recommend this series.
