Novella length urban fantasy along the lines of Butcher's Dresden.I like this authors style. It has such a devil may care attitude to it and that is exactly how he has written his main character. With the debonnaire flair of an outcast gentleman and the sarcastic wit of a person who doesn't give a flying monkey what anyone says or thinks. A few minor errors, one being the use of the word reign instead of reins.Other than that this is quite an excellent read, just a shame it isn't a full length novel. Saying that though novellas often feel 'interrupted' for wont of a better word and this doesn't, it fits snugly and ends well. Like the first cup of coffee in the morning.It just feels right.
