This is my first KA book. Romance readers rave about her writing and books. I had to see what all the fuss was about.Now there are a lot of things in this story that were overly dramatic. People that age shouldn't be having hissy fits and ignoring each other every time they disagree. Cue dramatic hair-swinging, door banging and bike revving exits. It also had annoying male Ugga Ugga Neanderthal moments in it. Cue bearded male dragging long haired female into cave (MC club) to give 'er a right good *time* a la caveman style.But.........Despite all those things the author knows how to write in a way that leaves the reader hungering for the next page. She writes with a passion and power. You can always tell when an author owns her characters to the bone. They feel alive and most importantly they feel as if the reader can relate to them on some level, even if they are motorbike riding cavemen.I received a free copy of this book via netGalley.
